This past week, Banksville Fire Department participated in a multi-agency training exercise hosted by the Bedford Hills Fire Department. The drill focused on water supply operations, an essential skill for departments that often respond to areas without traditional hydrant access.

Alongside our partners from Katonah and Pound Ridge, members worked on drafting and establishing a fill site from a dry hydrant and tanker shuttle operations, moving and circulating water from a remote source to simulate continuous fireground supply
