On 4-17-2023 BIFD was dispatched to Port Chester on a 2nd alarm fire at approximately 10 AM requesting an engine to relocate to their headquarters. Shortly after that request, a third alarm was transmitted and the request was changed to 1 Tanker and 1 Engine to assist with drafting and tanker shuttles.

Engine 157 and Tanker 7 responded and provided assistance with water operations.

Engine 157 returned back to Banksville around 3:30 PM.

Right before clearing, an additional alarm came in for an Airport Alert Level 2 where units were dispatched to the Westchester County Airport for a potential aircraft incident. The aircraft landed safely prior to BIFD’s response.
