Banksville Team to Participate in Stamford "Fight for Air Climb"
By BIFD Staff
October 4, 2012
A team of Banksville firefighters will be climbing the stairs to the top of the 33-story Trump Parc building in Stamford on November 3rd as part of the American Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb. The Climb helps raise funds to aid in the prevention and treatment of lung disease including lung cancer, emphysema and childhood asthma. The Banksville team will be participating in the Firefighter Division - which means they will be making the climb wearing full protective gear weighing about 50 pounds.
You can support this wonderful cause by making a tax-deductible donation on behalf of one our fire department team members. Just log on to our Banksville Fire Department Fight for Air Climb web page (below), select one of our team members to donate on behalf of, and then click the "Make a Gift" link in the right-hand column of their personal web page.
