| A fire engine from the Banksville Fire Department will be escorting Santa to a couple of special appearances in Banksville this coming week.
On December 8th, Santa is scheduled to appear at the Businesses of Banksville "Thank You Thursday" event to be held at the North Street Shopping Center. The event hours are 2 to 6pm, with Santa scheduled to arrive shortly after 4pm. Santa is also scheduled to make an appearance, at the Toys for Tots event scheduled for Saturday, December 10th from 11am to 1pm at the Banksville Community House. Local residents are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to the Community House to help make this holiday a special one for children in need. The U.S. Marine Corp will be there to pick up the toys.
