In Memory of Joseph Santoro

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of 50 year member Joseph Santoro.

Joe joined the Fire Police in January of 1971 and rose to the rank of Lieutenant. Joe was an instrumental part of forming the Board of Directors, on which he served for many years. He was chairman of the Nominating Committee for our annual elections and served on the Apparatus Replacement Committee.

Joe could always be found in the kitchen at our annual Turkey Jamboree stirring his big pot of chili. He will be greatly missed around the firehouse.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Santoro Family during this difficult time.

A mass to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, November 24th at 1:30pm at St. Timothy's Chapel in Greenwich, CT.

Thank you so much for putting this together and posting this. I have heard from so many people how much this piece meant to them and how much they enjoyed reading it. We are forever grateful for your thoughtfulness and support. Tuesday night meetings and the 6pm horn will always be a part of the fabric of our family. With Love and Gratitude, Marylee Santoro
