The Greenwich Volunteer Firefighters Annual Dinner was held Thursday night, June 9th at the Knights of Columbus in Greenwich. Firefighters from each of the Town's volunteer companies were recognized for their service and Chief Watson presented the District Chief's award to Ex-Chief and Chief Engineer Robert Schupp in recognition of his many contributions to the department over the years.

Robert joined the department in 1975 and has held every line officer position including Chief. Most recently, he served as Assistant Chief from 2000 to 2006, and since then has served as Chief Engineer. Year after year he is one of the department's top responders. He also serves as the Chairman of the House and Grounds Committee, and has served as a Director of our Benevolent Association for many years. Congratulations Robert!
