In May, BIFD responded to a total of 43 calls including 14 calls in Greenwich, 2 calls in Stamford, and 3 mutual aid calls.

The Department also conducted a ground ladder drill, participated in the Westchester County Airport full-scale emergency drill, drilled with Armonk and North White Plains FDs to familiarize members with the NWPFD's ladder truck, and participated in the Stayin' Alive Charity 5k race along with members of the Armonk FD, North White Plains FD and North Castle PD.
