April was a busy month with BIFD running a total of 32 calls including 13 calls in Greenwich, 3 in Stamford, a mutual aid run to Somers for a brush fire, and a mutual aid run to Armonk for a chimney fire with extension.

BIFD also hosted our Pancake Breakfast Open House, participated in a tanker drill conducted at the Westchester County Airport, a tanker shuttle drill hosted by the Katonah Fire Department, and two tanker drills with the Greenwich Fire Department.
