Congratulations to Todd Kennedy for receiving the Chief's Awards at the Greenwich Volunteer Firefighters awards dinner held on June 25th. Over 100 attendees were present to recognize the efforts of the Town's volunteer firefighters, and a member from each of GFD's volunteer companies received a special Chief's Award for their service.

Chief Watson presented the award and recognized firefighter Kennedy for his 44 years of service to department. During his tenure, firefighter Kennedy has served as a Fire Police Lieutenant, Vice President, a member of the Board of Directors and a member of the Building Committee. He is a fixture at the welcome table for our annual Turkey Jamoboree, and, year after year, ranks as one of our top 10 responders.

Chief Watson also recognized him for his contributions to the Town of Greenwich serving as a member of the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) for the past 43 consecutive years! Amazing!

Congratulations Todd!
