Shortly before 04:30 Wednesday morning, Greenwich and Banksville units were dispatched to a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, units found a 14,500 square foot mansion heavily involved in fire. With no hydrants available, tankers from Banksville, Round Hill and Armonk began a shuttle operation, as additional tankers were requested to the scene. Banksville Engine 157 laid a 5 inch supply line to a dry hydrant located about 2,500 feet away from the structure and a relay water supply operation was established. Tankers continued to operate to supplement the supply for the duration of the incident. Greenwich and Banksville units remained working at the scene well into the afternoon hours.
