Ex-Chief William Richardson Jr, was presented a District Chief's award at the Greenwich Volunteer Firefighter annual dinner this past Friday night. Chief Watson presented the award in recognition of Ex-Chief Richardson celebrating 50 years of service in 2017 including serving three terms and 9 total years as Fire Chief. In addition to the Town Officials, GFD Chiefs and dozens of GFD volunteer firefighters in attendance, Ex-Chief Martin Richardson Sr., FDNY Firefighter Martin Richardson Jr, and Bill's son, GFD LT Bill Richardson III were also present at the ceremony.
